What Can PCF Provide?

The list below reflects some of the types of grants that PCF can provide for students. Each student PCF works with receives support specific to his or her expressed interests, natural talents, and age/grade in school.

Some elementary school students have access to a scholarship fund at their school, which may cover some of the items listed below. If they do, PCF can supplement above and beyond what the scholarship fund can provide.

  • Swim instruction through PYSI

  • Summer camp

  • Travel "extras" for field trips

  • Tickets for school functions (plays, sporting events, etc.)

  • Yearbooks and school pictures

  • Partial support for World Language trips

  • AP exam fees

  • SAT prep course and SAT/ACT exam fees

  • College score report fees

  • Summer courses and programs

  • Tutoring

  • Dance, voice, or instrument lessons

  • Vocational/Technical program fees

PCF works with the community to collect gently used items and recycle them for our kids. These collections provide extras like:

  • Sports equipment

  • Advanced calculators

  • Halloween costumes

  • Winter coats and boots

  • Appropriate attire for job and college interviews

  • Prom dresses

  • Swim suits, flip flops, goggles, and towels
